Mobility 1 & 2 summary

From 10th to 16th September 2017 in Athlone, Midlands-Ireland 26 participants and 4 key staff (in a training / facilitator role) from 12 different countries come together to attend the Partnership Building Activity.  

At  the meeting participated 2 EVS Coordinators, Project Managers or Supervisors per partner organisation to share experience and to set the rules, roles and responsibilities of the EVS network. Furthermore to understand the application process for EVS projects and to identify and overcome the possible blocks.

The program included discussions and evaluations of changes in EVS projects in Erasmus + programme, sharing of good practices among different organisations and countries and offered a great possibility for developing partnerships and networks.

From 11th to 17th April 2018 in Orvelte(The Nederlands), 32 participants and 4 key staff (in a training / facilitator role) from 12 different countries met to participate in a Training Course on Quality Project Management of EVS projects, from sending to arriving to departing and follow up.

The participants were EVS Supervisors and mentors, youth workers, volunteers, as well as coordinators, project managers, potential volunteers and ex-beneficiaries who wanted to share their experience.

The objective of the Training was to explore the different roles and responsibilities of the Mentor and the volunteer in an EVS project.

The methodology was based in non-formal education, with the participants divided into 2 working groups (volunteers and supervisors/mentors) who were interacting and co-operating during the 5 working days on activities, as a better understanding of the EVS process.

During the Mobility was organised an international event where participants present Erasmus+, EVS, organisations and typical food to visitors of Orvelte museum village.
